The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister This story always catches the attention of my listener's no matter the age. The very beautiful fish in this story learns what is truly most important life. Who wouldn't learn from this story?
I thought I posted a comment to this blog the other day but I can not seem to find it. However I love this book! I read it to my class of one year olds all the time! You are right it is a great book for any age, I have also read it with the 2, 3, and 4 year old classes as well when I use to be a floater before getting my own class! Great choice!!
I also love this book. My Prekindergarten students love it too. I try to include as many arts & crafts projects as possible, so I have my students make their own rainbow fish using different color tissue paper and tinfoil. It is a easy and fun craft.
Lillian,
